Eight players appear on Golden State's official injury report, headlined by superstar Stephen Curry and center Kristaps Porzingis. The team has designated Curry as probable as he continues managing a lingering right knee issue that previously sidelined him for 27 games.
Curry made his return from that extended absence in Sunday's loss to Houston, coming off the bench to contribute 29 points, two rebounds, and four assists. Team officials expect him to be available against Sacramento, though they may continue managing his workload carefully.
"We're going to be smart about his minutes as he works back into game shape," said Warriors head coach Steve Kerr. "He looked good in his return, but we need to be cautious with that knee."
Porzingis presents greater uncertainty, listed as questionable due to right knee soreness. If unable to play, it would mark his first missed game since April 1st, disrupting Golden State's frontcourt rotation against Sacramento's physical interior players.
Beyond the two stars, the Warriors face additional health challenges. Rookie guard LJ Cryer is listed as probable despite battling illness, while forward Gui Santos has been ruled out with a right pelvic contusion.
Veteran big man Al Horford and rookie Quinten Post remain sidelined as they continue recovering from their respective injuries. The team also confirmed that Moses Moody and Jimmy Butler will miss the remainder of the season with their long-term ailments.
