"We knew this was a must-win for our playoff hopes," said DeRozan. "Phoenix brings championship experience, but we stayed composed and executed down the stretch. That's what playoff basketball is about."
Devin Booker kept Phoenix in contention with 35 points on 13-of-24 shooting, including several difficult mid-range jumpers that silenced the Chicago crowd. His backcourt partner Bradley Beal added 28 points, but the Suns' offense stalled in the extra period, scoring just two points in the final two minutes.
