If [the Bucks] could get [Alperen] Sengun and Reed Sheppard and some picks, for Giannis, man. I think that could grow into something pretty good in the Eastern Conference."
Broussard emphasized that such a move would align perfectly with Houston's championship timeline, particularly given Kevin Durant's presence on the roster. The Rockets have already secured a playoff spot in the competitive Western Conference, currently positioned as the likely fifth seed with four regular season games remaining.
"And then if I'm Houston, I gotta win now because of Kevin Durant," continued Broussard. "[The Rockets would] have Giannis, still would have Jabari Smith, Amen Thompson. Fred VanVleet will be back next year. Like, that's a team that could contend in the West."
The proposed trade framework would see Milwaukee acquire promising young center Alperen Sengun and rookie guard Reed Sheppard alongside draft compensation. This return would provide the Bucks with foundational pieces to rebuild around while remaining competitive in the Eastern Conference.
